WORKSHOP AT THE State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart ON 08.05.2015
The third “TRR 141 Workshop” was hosted by the (SMNS), on May 8th 2015. During the morning session, taking place at the Löwentor Museum, a short introduction of the SMNS, together with general information, including the planned TRR 141 exhibition, was given by Anita Roth-Nebelsick (SMNS). Then, various talks were provided. The first speaker was Markus Milwich with a lecture about the competences of the Institute of Textile Technology and Process Engineering Denkendorf and its activities within the TRR 141, followed by PhD students Daniel Coupek (University of Stuttgart, B04), Debdas Paul (University of Stuttgart, B05), Tobias Grun (University of Tübingen, A07) and Veronika Koldeisz (University of Freiburg, A08) who presented the current state of their work.
After the morning session, the workshop was continued at the Rosenstein Museum (after a relaxing walk through the Rosenstein Park, in sunny weather). After lunch at the Rosenstein Museum, guided tours through the exhibition were offered by the Museum staff. Finally, the various project groups met for further discussions. Parallel to the afternoon session at the Rosenstein Museum, the exhibition group met to discuss the current state and further proceedings. The workshop took place in an inspiring atmosphere and provided an ideal opportunity to present and discuss current the state of the projects and further progress.
