NIMS Internship Program Fellowship 2017 of the National Institute for Materials Science (Tsukuba, Japan) awarded to Ms. Stefanie Schmier for a two month research stay at NIMS in April and May 2017 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Naoe Hosoda (NIMS & Tokyo University) for research within the framework of her dissertation “Plants as source of inspiration for energy dissipation in load bearing systems and facades”.
Add-on Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Science 2016 awarded to Dipl.-Biol. Linnea Hesse im Rahmen der Dissertation mit dem Thema “Qualitative und quantitative Analyse von verzweigten Pflanzen und deren biomimetisches Umsetzungspotential”.
